Here’s how to get free rides to, from Winterfest

Planning to attend Winterfest?

Consider getting a ride there for free.

Destination El Paso and Sun Metro teamed up to drive passengers to and from Winterfest through downtown’s recently renovated Paseo de las Luces corridor.

“People will enjoy a unique ride experience,” Sun Metro Director Jay Banasiak said. “We are delivering a transit service where patrons can enjoy downtown’s wintertime activities without the worries of dealing with traffic.”

The rides are free and on the weekends only up until the end of Winterfest, which is Jan 6, 2019.

The streetcars are currently free as well. Find a listing of the streetcar stops.

Passengers can board at Father Rahm and El Paso Street every 15 minutes, and will be dropped off near the southern end of the WinterFest at El Paso and Overland.
