The Aggies return home from Missouri

The NMSU Aggies are back home.

After scaring the number two team in the nation, the Kansas Jayhawks, the Aggies are in good spirits.

Our cameras were rolling as they made their way to the baggage carousel.

Coach Jans seemed a little tired but in good spirits.

“Well, obviously we went down there expecting to win the game. You know, we prepared hard for this game, we knew it was going to be a big stage for our program to play the number two ranked team in the country. Play a blue blood like the Kansas Jayhawks, the tradition they have. I expected our guys to play well, and they did,” Jans said.

NMSU Forward Ivan Aurrecoechea had this to say: “We started really hard like we usually do. We missed some free throws, we didn’t have the opportunity to make some shots that were really important. It was a really good game!”
