Free Tax Preparation Available to Low, Moderate Income El Pasoans

The AARP Foundation is offering free income tax preparation for low to moderate-income persons at various Parks and Recreation Centers from February 1 to April 12.
Any person, of any age, may use the service and does not need to be an AARP member. Each individual tax return usually takes volunteer tax preparers about half an hour to complete. The free service is on a first come, first served basis so early arrival is encouraged.
Tax returns will be done by appointment and residents are encouraged to call in advance to set up an appointment. The following Parks and Recreation Centers will offer tax preparation services:

Grandview Senior Center, 3134 Jefferson Ave., Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Call (915) 566-1217 to schedule an appointment.
