City alters certain services due to presidential visit

The city of El Paso is altering the times and availabilities of certain services due to the presidential visit to the Sun City on Monday.

The Parks and Recreation Department is closing the Acosta Sports Center at 4321 Delta Drive and the Hilos de Plata Senior Center at 4451 Delta Drive at 1 p.m.

The El Paso Zoo will be closed for the day.

Cases set after 11 a.m. in the Municipal Courts 1, 2, 4, and 5 will be canceled. All other municipal courts will not be impacted.

All facilities will resume normal operational hours on Tuesday.

Meantime, flyers are encouraged to check their flight schedules on the El Paso International Airport website or call their airline for their latest flight information.
