Report: indoor entertainment facility to open in West El Paso

The Westside Toys ‘R’ Us may be gone, but kids are going to like what’s moving into that empty space.

According to ABC-7’s news partners at the El Paso Inc., the 50,000-square-foot building will be transformed into an Urban Air Adventure Park.

Urban Air describes itself as “the Six Flags of the indoor entertainment industry” with an indoor trampoline/recreation and entertainment center where kids of all ages can play, slide, climb, jump, duck, dunk and bounce.

The website shows that it offers an indoor roller coaster, indoor sky-diving, go-karts and mini-golf, among other activities.

Urban Air is a Dallas-based company with 80 sites in the U.S. and abroad that entertained an estimated 23-million customers last year.

Another 200 locations are under construction.

The facility is slated to open this summer at 801 S. Mesa Hills.
