LCPD: Two women shoplift $6,000 worth of merchandise

Las Cruces Police said two woman stole approximately $6,000 worth of merchandise from several stores in Las Cruces.

According to police, the alleged shoplifting accured Sunday, Feb. 10. Surveillence footage captured a photo of both suspects.

Investigators say the women left Las Cruces in a black Dodge minivan with a temporary, or dealer, license plate.

The two are also suspected of shopflifting a store in Socorro, N.M. sometime after the alleged shoplifting in Las Cruces.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the two women.

Anyone with information that can help identify either one or both women is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.”
