UPDATE: Lanes back open after crash on I-10 East and Americas

All lanes are back open after a serious crash bloack traffic eastbound on I-10 at Loop 375/Americas Avenue.

Emergency responders told ABC-7 that one person has been taken to Del Sol Medical Center with serious injuries.

It’s not known what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Images from the TXDOT traffic camera system appear to show a semi-trailer facing the wrong way.

The ABC-7 TrafficTRACK team advised drivers to take Alameda Avenue, North Loop Drive, or Rojas Drive to avoid the area.
