LCPD: Body found in drainage tunnel ‘had signs of trauma’
Police Wednesday identified the man found dead near a drainage tunnel at East Lohman and Del Monte Streets as 30-year-old Demon Williams of Las Cruces.
“The body has signs of trauma and his death does not appear to be natural,” said police in a news release.
The scene of the discovery is very close to a shopping mall and within a block of Hermosa Heights Elementary School. Expect heavy police presence if you plan on being in that area.
