The El Paso Chihuahuas light up game three of the series

After taking game one and two could the Chihuahuas string three wins together?

It was a quiet game until Jose Pirela jacked a two run homer to get the game started.

The dogs wouldnt look back.

In the fourth inning the bats really came alive.

Austin Allen hit a solo homerun to start the scoring spree. Six runs later and the Chihuahuas found themselves up nine to nothing heading into the fifth inning.

Yasmany Tomas, yesterdays hero for the Aces would would fly out to left bringing in a runner after he tagged up ending the shutout.

In the ninth the Aces would try to rally adding two runs to their score but it wouldnt be enough.

Cody Decker the one time Chihuahua star from the inagurial season pitched in the bottom of the ninth to help end the game.

The Chihuahuas will play again Monday against the Aces to end their road stand.
