El Paso High Girls’ Volleyball Team Runs Food Pantry at UTEP

The El Paso Girls High School Volleyball team is used to serving on the court, but last Friday, they got together to serve the community.

The Lady Tigers teamed with non-profit charity Camden Cares for Kids, hosting a food drive culminating at the Food Pantry at UTEP.

The girls spent two weeks putting together bags of non-perishable food items to give to the hungry and spent time with 8-year old Camden Moreno, who started the charity in an effort to give back to the community.

The team talked with young Camden about the organization’s impact, and posed for pictures at UTEP’s Memorial Gym.
