ABC-7 First Alert: Rain and storm chances up for Thursday
The ABC-7 StormTrack weather team has issued an ABC-7 First Alert for continued chances for storms, some heavy, for Thursday evening and night. Some areas just east of El Paso, including the lower valley, already experienced some heavy rain – as much as 1-2″.
Afternoon highs are expected to reach the upper 70s and low 80’s with partly cloudy skies.
The weekend is starting to look drier as high pressure develops over the region. However, a backdoor front is expected to move in early next week bringing some rain chances, cooler temps and some wind.
