EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso Police Department's Gang Unit arrested a man for firing a weapon in Central El Paso.


This happened at 2:30 a.m. Monday morning at 100 Glory Road.

Officers were patrolling the area when they heard a single gunshot. They arrested Alfred Lawernce Gay Jr., 21, for firing a handgun inside a parking garage.


Gay was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for discharging of a firearm in certain municipalities. His bond was set to $1000.

No other immediate details were available.
