El Paso Children’s Hospital receives $100,000 donation from Kickpin brothers
El PASO, Texas -- An exiting day for the El Paso Children's hospital after receiving a $100,000 donation from the Kickpin Foundation.
The name might sound familiar. Drew and Jamie Frank opening up the sneaker shop in 2017 as teenagers. Since then, the business has thrived and the brothers have been able to give back to the community who gave back to them.
In between everyday business, life and school, the brothers focus on charity for the community. After several shoe giveaway, the Franks decided to step it up and donate to a hospital.
The $100,000 donated to the hospital will "ensure that children in our region have access to high level healthcare both through much needed orthopedic procedures as well as creating a long-term funding stream for the greatest needs of the hospital," according to the hospital.
In turn, the hospital named the largest operating room, which is home to all orthopedic procedures, after the Frank boys and their well-known Kickpin Foundation.
