Democratic Primary Forum: County Commissioner, Precinct 2
EL PASO, Texas -- ABC-7 hosted a democratic runoff forum for County Commissioner Precinct 2. Precinct 2 covers part of east El Paso -- from west of McRae blvd to the lower valley, central, part of the northeast, and the westside, to Sunland Park Drive. That is the seat currently held by David Stout. He's facing a challenge from Judy Gutierrez, a former city of El Paso employee.
Whoever wins the primary on May 24 wins the seat, as there is not a republican challenger. This is a four-year term.
