EL PASO, Texas- The El Paso County Judge and the County Commissioners are debating the use of fireworks within the county.

With little rainfall in the last couple of months and the ongoing battles with New Mexico wildfires, county officials have added the discussion to the weekly agenda.

ABC-7 will have the outcome of the vote from the County of El Paso as soon as it is decided.

Last year, due to the rain that fell before the county commissioners met, they allowed the sale and use of fireworks within the county.
