El Paso fostering agency sends kids to camp

EL PASO, Texas- A World For Children- El Paso connects kids who have been removed from their biological families and places them with fosters.

The children range from 0 to 18.

As they age through the fostering system A World For Children- El Paso tries to send some of them to a 3 day camp.

Those that are 15 to 18 year olds will hopefully be going to a Texas summer camp where they will enjoy outdoor activities, sports and therapy sessions aimed at bringing them into adulthood.

Area Director, Pricilla Cuellar told ABC-7,  Monetary donations are greatly appreciarted.  “We are looking for any type of items that kids can take as they are aging out. Like apartment needs.  Some of our kids might go to college so they are going to be needing items for college.  Mac books, anything like that.”
