27 Migrants taken into custody by Border Patrol after boats lands in Florida

27 Cuban migrants landed at Higgs Beach in Key West Saturday morning, according to the Miami Herald.

The group of 27, which reportedly landed on a wooden boat, included 8 kids, according to Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokesman Adam Linhardt.

The Miami herald is reporting that U.S. Border Patrol has the group in it's custody.

The group refused medical attention, according to authorities.
