Biden to speak about ‘the continued battle for the soul of the nation’ Today

President Biden is set to give a speech tonight on what he calls "The Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation" during a primetime address in Pennsylvania.

White House officials say Biden will touch on what's at stake in our democracy as well as the progress his administration has made in protecting the nation's core values. Biden will give these remarks in front of Independence Hall as he makes the case that America's democracy is still under attack.

This speech comes just a week after the President returned to the campaign trail and criticized republicans who have questioned the 2020 election results. Biden is ramping up his travel schedule in the closing months of the midterm elections. The event in Philadelphia will be his third in the battleground state in the span of one week.
