First-time water project completes phase two as it aims to help 52 households in east El Paso County

SOCORRO, Texas -- A first-time water project by the Lower Valley Water District (LVWD) for Panorama Village has completed its second phase. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday to celebrate.

Panorama Village is located in an unincorporated area of east El Paso County.

The total construction amounts close to $500,000, and over 52 households will be assisted.

The project aims to connect residents to the system and has been in the planning stages for over three years.

Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) and LVWD have been working to secure additional funds for various projects within the district.
