Bed, Bath, and Beyond CFO dead at 52

NEW YORK, New York --

Bed, Bath, and Beyond's chief financial officer jumped to his death from a New York city apartment on Friday. He was 52 years old. According to police, Gustavo Arnal, was found lying on the ground of his luxury high-rise apartment in Tribeca.

Police say his wife saw him jump and there are no indications the fall was a result of a crime. Arnal was hired in 2020 to help Bed, Bath, and Beyond work through financial struggles.
