Large migrant group detained by Border Patrol near Paso Del Norte Bridge

EL PASO, Texas -- ABC-7 captured video of a large group of migrants detained by Border Patrol agents near the Paso Del Norte port of entry.

Unofficial numbers show the group was between 350 to 400 migrants.

According to a spokesman with Border Patrol, most, if not all, migrants are from Venezuela.

ABC-7 tried questioning some migrants, but they only responded that they were thankful to the Biden Administration.

The spokesman says migrants have been crossing in large numbers since Sunday.

A source within the agency tells ABC-7 the group of migrants crossing Monday morning was closer to 700 migrants.

This comes as Customs and Border Protection released migrants into the streets of downtown El Paso, with many camping out near the Greyhound bus station.
