National voter registration day

Election day is right around the corner and the question is, are you registered to vote? If you are not registered, today is the day to do it.
The fourth Tuesday of September is national voter registration day . The National Association of Secretaries of States started the event back in 2012. It's a coordinated effort not only from the local level. States and other national organizations use this day to urge people to register to vote.
Hundreds of thousands participate each year. Every state has their own requirements so make sure you check them out on vote.org..
