Twitter whistleblower who foresaw the violence of Jan. 6 reveals her identity

The identity of the former Twitter employee who expressed concerns about the potential for violence before January 6th has been revealed.

The House Select Committee member Jamie Raskin says Anika Navaroli is coming forward ahead of next week's hearing. She is the Twitter whistleblower who anonymously testified before the January 6 panel and argued that her company's leadership was reluctant to take strong actions against Donald Trump's account.

It's not clear whether she will be part of that day's testimony, but she has important insights about her work on Twitter's content moderation team.

Navaroli says she was very concerned about the content posted by Former President Trump, the Proud Boys, and other extremist groups.

Representative Raskin is praising Navaroli for her patriotism and courage in coming forward.
