ABC-7 First Alert: Rainy week expected with much cooler temps

Happy Tuesday everyone! As you know, we are under a First Alert, but I have extended it now through Thursday. The reason for the extension is due to an increase in the likeliness of another day of widespread rain across the Borderland. Get ready for some rain!

Today, we will likely see a batch of rain move in later this evening and overnight, but we can still see a few showers and storms before then. Tomorrow, we will expect similar conditions with even more rain possible tomorrow. For the week ahead, the impacts of these storms will be gusty winds, brief heavy downpours, slick roads, cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. You certainly may like the cooler temps and rain, and it'll be a perfect week to snuggle in bed and watch movies! Stay safe and enjoy.
