Millions of high school and middle school students using e-cigarettes

More than 2.5 million U.S. middle and high school students say they use e-cigarettes, according to a new study. Researchers found tat it continues to be a popular form of tabacco use among students. The 2022 National Youth Tabacco Survey was conducted between January 18th and May 31st of this year.

The CDC and FDA looked at responses and found that more that 14% of high school students and more than 3% of middle school students reported using e-cigarettes within the previous 30 days. Among these, 42% reported using e-cigarettes frequently and nearly 28% of them reported daily use.
