Thousands to file for unemployment

CNN --

Tens of thousands of people are set to file unemployment claims in the wake of hurricane Ian according to economists. Florida took the biggest hit.

Early estimates show that Ian could be the most costly hurricane to make landfall in the state. The tourism industry in that area also took a massive hit. Economists say that if those workers do not come back, the states will have difficulty rebounding form the damage.

Meanwhile only 6,000 customers are without power in Florida from a whopping 2.7 million.
