Sunday Funday Moment: Franklin High School teens go viral for spreading joy with random house serenade of Justin Bieber’s “Baby"

El Paso, Texas-- A video featuring a group of Franklin high school teens is going viral online for all the right reasons.

The group of seven young men seen in the viral video are not only soccer teammates, they’ve all been friends for years now.

While hanging out together one night they decided to entertain themselves  by spreading some positive vibes to their neighbors.

“We were just sitting around and we didn't want do any harm to anyone so we just decided to just go sing around,” said one of the boys.

They all came up with the idea to do some caroling to the tune of none other than Justin Bieber.

“It was just a joke at first, but we wanted to sing something that we all knew and I dunno I got the rhythm, “baby, baby, baby” in my head and we all just went with it,” said another.

They spent a few minutes rehearsing the song in the middle of their street neighborhood and then went from door to door seeing which neighbor would be kind enough to open their doors to hear them perform the song.

“At first people were kind of like weirded out thinking, “why is this group of kids coming in front of my house," but once we started singing they started dancing and recording and they were just all happy,” said the boys.

The video was recorded by one of the neighbors who witnessed the serenade themselves, Angela and Mario Ramirez. It was then shared on El Paso’s FitFam page and it received dozens of comments commending the boys for doing something positive and fun and some even praising their parents.

Although it was an unexpected surprise, Angela, her husband and their daughter thought it was so heartwarming to see these young men doing something positive.

As for whether or not the boys will do their random caroling again?

“We're still thinking about that. Maybe beautiful girls by Sean Kingston? You just never know.”

Well boys, we hope you keep doing positive things like this because the world can use more positive stories like these! Way to go!
