Former NMSU Men’s Basketball players to hold press conference after filing lawsuit against the university

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Joleen Younger, the attorney for William Benjamin, William "Deuce" Benjamin and Shakiru Odunewu, stated they will be holding a press conference.

"Deuce" Benjamin and Dunewu are former NMSU Men's Basketball players, and they allege that negligence from the previous coaching staff and school administration led to a culture of abuse within the program - that ultimately caused the suspension of the program.

The press conference will be held at 10 a.m. outside the Pan American Center on NMSU's campus, on Wednesday, May 3rd.

All three plaintiffs will be present at the press conference, along with their legal representation.
