El Paso’s internal auditor reviewed convenience store security videos during gas card investigation

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The city's chief internal auditor released his report on fuel card usage by members of city council and the mayor for the first four months of this year.

In that report, the auditor, Edmundo Calderon, breaks down ten different videos he was able to view, taken from convenience stores where District 3 Representative Cassandra Hernandez's gas card was used. The report implies that Hernandez also allowed her husband to use her gas card to fill up his vehicle.

ABC-7 has viewed one of the ten videos mentioned in the report. We are going to each of the other nine stores to ask if we can view the surveillance video from the date and time that Hernandez's card was used.
