University Medical Center hosts fundraising 5k run & 1 mile fun walk on October 14
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Registration is underway now for the 2023 University Medical Center Better Health 5K Run and 1 mile walk on Saturday, October 14th. The event is taking place at UMC West Clinic, 6600 North Desert. Proceeds to benefit UMC'S Sobreviviendo El Cancer Fund in support of breast cancer patients.
For the 5k Competitive Run, trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in age groups 9-under, 10-14, 15-19, 20 -29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
Regular price for registration is $20 through October 12. Late registration is $25 on October 13 and 14. Kids Dash registration is $15.
Teams of 10 receive a $5 discount - the first 9 to register for your team will receive a $5 refund once the 10th team member registers. Everyone to register for your team from the 10th member on will pay the discounted price. The group discount expires at midnight on October 12.
The first 500 registrants will receive a high-quality, long sleeve t-shirt with the race logo. All finishers will receive a medal.
Early Packet pick up at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa, Ste. 205, October 13th from 11am to 5pm. Race day packet pick up at UMC West, 6600 N. Desert Blvd. from 7:00am - 7:45am.
