Black Friday shopping at El Paso’s Cielo Vista Mall

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Eager shoppers arrived at Cielo Vista Mall by 4:00 a.m. for Black Friday deals.

Despite forming lines, a seasoned shopper noted a significant decrease in the usual hustle, she says, "It has died down tremendously; you don't see the big crowds or people fighting for TVs like in prior years."

Cindy Foght, the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Cielo Vista Mall, anticipates the peak shopping time to be at 12:00 p.m. She advises shoppers to go early to avoid lengthy lines.

Shoppers say their focus is on finding Christmas deals and winter clothing. According to The National Retail Federation, "Black Friday continues to be the most popular day to shop, with 72% (130.7 million) planning to shop."

Cielo Vista Mall expects a full house, shoppers are reminded to be prepared for a bustling day of deals and festive shopping!
