Pedestrian hit and killed on Spur 601, halting traffic

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A pedestrian was killed following a crash on Spur 601, according to police.

It happened on Mile Marker 22. The call came in at 5:02 a.m., according to fire dispatch.

All eastbound lanes at Chafee Rd. have been closed.

Special Traffic Investigators were called out to the scene.
