Road closures expected for Clint pilgrimage on Aug. 10

CLINT, Texas (KVIA) -- Residents and drivers near the San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Clint, Texas, may notice more people walking in the area on Monday. The San Elizario Fire Rescue urged drivers to be cautious as people pack the roads for an annual pilgrimage.

San Elizario Fire Rescue said the pilgrimage procession runs from 3-6 a.m. Aug. 10. It caps off a weekend of celebrations as part of the Fiesta de San Lorenzo.

FM-1110, North Loop and Alameda will have rolling road closures for the pilgrimage, according to San Elizario Fire Rescue.

The church, located at 13021 Center Way in Clint, will also have a kermess Aug. 7-9, according to Visit El Paso.
