All lanes on I-10 East at Hawkins open after crash between semi-truck and car

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), all lanes on I-10 East at Hawkins are open after a crash late Sunday morning.

The El Paso Police Department (EPPD) and El Paso Fire Department (EPFD) was on scene checking on a red car that was wedged underneath a semi-trailer.

The El Paso Fire Department says that one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

An ABC-7 crew captured the image above showing a small red car with significant damage that was towed from the scene of the crash, just off frame is a TxDOT HERO vehicle and an EPPD unit.
