EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The City of El Paso announced Tuesday that El Paso International Airport (ELP) has been nominated for USA TODAY’s 2026 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Small Airport.

Officials say the annual competition highlights airports that deliver superior travel experiences through ease of access, efficient operations, amenities, hospitality, and overall traveler satisfaction. The Top 20 nominees are selected by 10Best travel experts before being opened to nationwide public voting.

“Being nominated for Best Small Airport is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our airport team,” said City Manager Dionne Mack. “ELP continues to provide an exceptional travel experience rooted in efficiency, customer service, and the welcoming spirit of our region. We encourage residents, visitors, and partners to vote daily and help bring this national recognition home to El Paso.”

Winners will be announced later in October on the USA TODAY 10Best website, and the public can vote once per day until October 14.
