Republican El Paso County Judge candidate Minerva Torres Shelton sits down with ABC-7’s Marcel Clarke

Republican candidate Minerva Torres Shelton is outlining her priorities as she campaigns for El Paso County Judge.

Torres Shelton is running against Democratic El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego in the November 3rd general election.

In an interview with ABC-7’s Marcel Clarke, Torres Shelton discussed several issues facing El Paso County, including property taxes, county spending, infrastructure and data center development.

Torres Shelton said she wants to take a closer look at county spending and prioritize essential services, including roads, drainage and public safety.

She also discussed the growth of data centers in the region.

Torres Shelton and Samaniego will face off in the November 3rd election.
