Temporary water outage as CRRUA works on repairs in Feather Moon area

SUNLAND PARK, New Mexico (KVIA) -- According to a social media post from the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA), as of 3:10 p.m., crews are working on emergency repairs to a water line break.

Officials with CRRUA say the repairs will result in the temporary shutdown of water service to the Feather Moon subdivision and low water pressure in the Santa Teresa area along McNutt Road.

The utility says once service is restored, water pressure may remain low for a short time while the lines are pressurized, and customers may notice temporary water discoloration.
