The Hospitals of Providence hosted community event at new emergency room

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Hospitals of Providence held an event where the community was able to tour the hospital's newest emergency room Saturday emergency room – The Hospitals of Providence Emergency Room Gateway.

The emergency room is located 11213 Gateway Blvd. West, Suite A, El Paso, TX  79935.

The new facility is The Hospitals of Providence's 10th emergency room location in El Paso and its fourth developed through the joint venture between The Hospitals of Providence and Emerus.

Officials say the 10,899-square-foot, 10-bed neighborhood emergency room is designed to provide 24/7 services to the nearby community.

Attendees toured the facility, participated in activities, and got a chance to win items in giveaways.
