Streets in Canutillo closed due to downed live electrical wires

CANUTILLO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has closed several streets due to live electrical wires being down.

Second, Third and Fourth streets at La Mesa Street are currently blocked off. The clearing time is unknown.

As of 1:13 A.M. the El Paso Electric outage map shows 3,603 customers are without power in the area.

El Paso Electric is currently at the scene working to clear the area.
