Good Vibes Only: Author returns to hometown to inspire students

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)— Native El Pasoan Lisa Caprelli returned to her hometown to inspire the next generation of readers. Caprelli is an author who has published 23 books.

In September, she spoke to students at Horizon Heights Elementary School. The heart of her message was to motivate students to continue using their imagination.

“It's important that they use their own thinking, their own, because that's something that a computer cannot do.  And your own original ideas, like we did for Unicorn Jazz."

Caprelli reminded students about the importance of connecting with each other in today’s tech-driven world.

“That’s something technology can’t do is replace human connection,” she said.
