Congressman Gabe Vasquez discusses voting record, campaign promises in one-on-one interview with ABC-7

With early voting already underway in New Mexico, voters are making their voices heard ahead of the November election.

As part of ABC-7's Your Voice, Your Vote coverage, ABC-7 anchor Marcel Clarke sat down one-on-one with Democratic Congressman Gabe Vasquez, who is seeking re-election to represent New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District.

The conversation focused on the decisions Vasquez has made in Washington and how his work in Congress has addressed issues affecting constituents in southern New Mexico.

Vasquez is facing Republican challenger Greg Cunningham in the November election.

Cunningham is scheduled to sit down with ABC-7's Marcel Clarke next week for a separate one-on-one interview next week.
