I-10 West reopens after pedestrian was hit in Downtown El Paso area

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on I-10 West Tuesday night, according to El Paso Police.

The westbound lanes of the freeway were closed after the crash was reported just after 9 p.m.

I-10 west reopened at around 10:40 p.m.

Police said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
