Anthony Rodriguez murdered in Central El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Police are identifying the 19-year-old killed in a shooting in Central El Paso as Anthony Rodriguez.

Police officials say the murder happened on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Pershing and Gateway South.

Officers were first called out on reports of a shooting. They later updated that public that they subsequently started investigating the shooting as a murder.

Police are asking anyone with information on the events leading up to the shooting to call the department at (915)-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
