Motorcyclist killed in crash identified
Update (March 18, 2025): El Paso Police just identified the motorcyclist as Emmanuel Parra, 26. Police officials say that Parra died of his injuries.
Special Traffic Investigators say Parra was traveling north on Resler and T-boned the driver's side door of the truck, which was driving west on Tierra Taos.
"Failure to yield right-of-way on the part of the Nissan Frontier and speed on the part of the Kawasaki Ninja are contributing factors in this collision," police officials explained.
The people inside the truck suffered minor injuries, police say.
This is the 11th traffic fatality of 2025, compared with 12 this time last year.
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One person was seriously injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in Northwest El Paso this afternoon.
The crash happened just before 3:37 PM. Emergency crews rushed one seriously injured person and two people suffering from minor injuries to the hospital.
This happened near Resler and Tierra Taos.
