Woman killed in Northeast El Paso stabbing, suspect in custody: Police

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A woman in her mid-30s died in a stabbing in Northeast El Paso on Tuesday, according to the El Paso Police Department. EPPD said another woman in her 30s is in custody.

According to EPPD Officer Adrian Cisneros, it happened around 11 a.m. at 4980 Sean Haggerty Dr. That's at the Patriot Palms apartments near the the U.S. 54.

Officer Cisneros said the victim died after being sent to the hospital.

Cisneros said EPPD believes there's nobody else in danger.

Police said the apartment complex will be closed off as they investigate.

Officer Cisneros said anyone with information about the stabbing should call police or the Crime Stoppers at (915)566-TIPS(8477) or through its tip form.
