Correction: Capitol Riot-Police Officer Charged story

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — In a story published October 19, 2023, about the arrest of a police officer on Jan. 6, 2021, riot charges, The Associated Press erroneously reported the title of the Montgomery County police official who spoke to reporters after a fatal shooting in July. Darren Francke is an assistant police chief, not the police chief.
