MILWAUKEE (AP) — President Joe Biden is swiping at Donald Trump and touting his administration’s progress during a visit to Milwaukee. The trip comes one day after a Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump was ineligible for the ballot there. Biden did not comment on the case but saysthere’s “no question” that his Republican predecessor — and likely opponent in next year’s election — supported an insurrection. The Democratic president also criticized Trump’s comments about migrants. During the Tuesday trip, Biden visited a Black-owned plumbing company in Milwaukee as he touted federal support for minority-owned businesses and his administration’s efforts to replace lead water pipes across the country. Wisconsin is a key battleground state that was won by Trump in 2016 and by Biden in 2020.
