El Paso man goes missing after visiting friend in Mexico

EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso police are searching for a man that went missing after visiting a friend in Mexico over the weekend.

Police said 53-year-old Matias Barraza was last seen when he visited a friend in Mexico on Saturday.

Barraza didn't return from the visit and hasn't been seen since, authorities indicated.

He was driving a green 2002 Ford Explorer with Texas license plates 1DDKT, according to police.

Anyone with information about Barraza's whereabouts was asked by authorities to call El Paso police at 915-212-4040.
