Santa Teresa Border Patrol disrupts smuggling scheme

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Santa Teresa Border Patrol's Anti-Smuggling Unit and Texas Department of Public Safety say they disrupted a smuggling scheme with 16 migrants transported in a small SUV.

Border Patrol Chief Anthony Good stated in a tweet the migrants were dangerously crammed in the vehicle, and that the one accused of tranporting them did so with no regard for their wellbeing.
