Borderland restaurants become grocery stores, selling fresh produce to customers

MGN

SANTA TERESA, New Mexico -- With sources of revenue being shut down due to the Borderland's stay-at-home mandates, local restaurants are opening up new ways to serve their patrons and bring in income.

Dining establishments like Billy Crews in Santa Teresa and Golden Corral have now started selling fresh produce. Peppers, tomatoes and an assortment of produce can be bought at these locations.

Their normal restaurant menus are also still available, only for pick-up.
